Pakistan Currency Exchange Rates Show Minor Fluctuations

Karachi: The currency exchange rates in Pakistan experienced mild fluctuations with slight variations in buying and selling prices for major currencies, data showed on Thursday.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the US dollar was bought at 279.98 and sold at 280.56. The euro recorded a buying rate of 330.37 and a selling rate of 333.29. The British pound was bought at 378.98 and sold at 382.54. The Japanese yen was bought for 1.78 and sold for 1.83. In the Middle Eastern currencies, the UAE dirham was bought at 76.44 and sold at 77.17, while the Saudi riyal was bought at 74.77 and sold at 75.37. The interbank rates for the US dollar stood at 279.50 for buying and 279.70 for selling.

These exchange rates provide a snapshot of the forex market activity and are crucial for businesses and individuals engaged in international transactions. The variations in buying and selling rates reflect minor market movements.
