Pound Sterling bought at 374.01 and sold at 378.00 in the interbank

The British pound and the euro showed significant strength in the interbank market on Saturday, with the currencies trading at notable heights against the local monetary unit.

According to the data released by Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the pound sterling was bought at 374.01 and was being sold at 378.00. The euro was recorded with a buying price of 324.05 and a selling price of 327.80.

The United States dollar, a key international currency, was quoted at a buying rate of 279.64 and a selling rate of 280.45 in the day”s dealings.

Trading for other prominent currencies included the Japanese Yen, with a buying and selling range of 1.73 to 1.80. The UAE Dirham was valued between 75.97 (buying) and 76.85 (selling).

Meanwhile, the Saudi Riyal was exchanged at 74.21 for buying and 75.04 for selling.
