Gold price drops by Rs 6,500 per tola, precious metals rates fall

The price of gold in the local market saw a significant decrease on Monday due to a bearish trend in global markets, with the per tola price of 24 karat gold falling by Rs 6,500.

After this decrease, the new price of one tola of 24 karat gold was recorded at Rs 533,362. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs 5,573 to Rs 457,271, while the rate of 10 grams of 22 karat gold fell by Rs 5,109 to Rs 419,180.

The silver market also saw a decrease in value. The price of one tola of 24 karat silver closed at Rs 8,894 after a decrease of Rs 37.

Likewise, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat silver reached a new level of Rs 7,625 after a decrease of Rs 31.

Globally, the price of gold decreased by $65 to $5,106 per ounce, while international silver came down to $84.10 after a decrease of $0.37.
