To revive the regional economy, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz today established the Punjab Economic Transformation Committee, which will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive plan to promote small industries. This high-level panel will be led by Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb.
The newly formed committee will consist of a total of 11 members, who will work under the direction of the Senior Minister to advance the government’s economic agenda.
The administrative and procedural oversight of the panel has been assigned to the Finance Secretary, who will serve as the committee’s secretary.
