The National Assembly today formally approved ‘The Iqbal Academy (Amendment) Bill, 2025’ during a session that saw significant legislative activity before its indefinite adjournment.
The lower house of Parliament, meeting at Parliament House, gave its assent to the Iqbal Academy measure, marking a key development in its proceedings.
In other legislative business, a new proposal, ‘The Pakistan Airports Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2026,’ was formally introduced for consideration by the assembly members.
Furthermore, ‘The Islamabad Capital Territory Local Government (Amendment) Ordinance, 2026’ was laid before the legislature for its review.
