Five people have lost their lives as a result of a violent clash between two groups in Ghotki, on which Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hasan Lanjar has taken immediate notice of the incident.

In response to this deadly dispute, the Home Minister has sought a detailed report from the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ghotki on the initial police action.

Issuing a strict directive, the minister said, “The accused involved in the murder should be brought under the grip of the law,” and demanded the immediate arrest of the culprits.

Mr. Lanjar also directed the law enforcement agencies to investigate the root causes of the violence and ordered that to prevent future conflicts, “the factors and motives behind the dispute should be identified and eliminated.”

He gave a stern warning that “any attempt to sabotage law and order and challenge the writ of the law will not be allowed at all.”

Reaffirming the government’s commitment, the Home Minister announced that “the protection of life and property of citizens is the top priority” and directed that he be kept informed of all developments related to the police investigation.
