Governor Sindh Muhammad Nehal Hashmi today expressed solidarity with individuals observing Nowruz under difficult conditions, conveying prayers for a future filled with new light and hope as the spring season begins.
In a message marking the occasion, the governor described the centuries-old cultural tradition as symbolising the pleasant arrival of a new season and carrying a message of optimism.
Mr. Hashmi emphasised that the spirit of the celebration fosters peace, love, tolerance, and brotherhood, stating that Pakistan’s cultural and religious diversity is a reflection of its national unity and strength.
The provincial head reaffirmed the Government of Sindh”s commitment to safeguarding the rights of all minority communities and promoting interfaith harmony within the province.
Concluding his statement, Governor Hashmi underscored that collective efforts are essential for the development, prosperity, and the establishment of lasting peace in Sindh.
