President Stresses Need for Coordinated Strategy Amid Evolving Regional Situation

President Asif Ali Zardari has underscored the necessity for a unified national strategy to safeguard Pakistan’s interests in response to the dynamic regional environment, a matter he discussed in a telephonic conversation with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.

An official statement issued today stated that During the call, the prime minister provided the president with a briefing on his recent engagements with other leaders in the region, which preceded a broader discussion on the overall situation and its potential consequences for the country.

President Zardari articulated that the country”s interests must be defended across all forums, advocating for a foundation of national consensus and proficient diplomatic engagement.

Separately, Prime Minister Sharif extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings during telephone conversations with Pakistan People”s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, and Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Yaar Muhammad (Retired Justice).

The premier conveyed his best wishes to the leaders, who in turn reaffirmed a collective commitment to collaborating for the nation”s progress.
