In the jurisdiction of Thana Sadar, after the tragic murder of young girl Urooj Fatima, an investigation has been initiated on “modern lines”, while senior police officials have expressed their resolve to ensure the provision of justice at all costs.
District Police Officer (DPO) Jhang, Sajid Hussain, along with Superintendent of Police (SP) Investigation, Rehman Qadir, immediately reached the crime scene and supervised the initial proceedings.
The DPO met with the bereaved heirs of the deceased, where he expressed heartfelt sympathy and condolences. He also participated in the Fateha prayer for the young deceased.
Other senior officers, including Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) City, DSP Crime Investigation Agency (CIA), and Station House Officer (SHO) Satellite Town were also present on the occasion.
DPO Sajid Hussain said, “We equally share in the family’s grief,” assuring the affected family of the department’s full cooperation in this difficult time.
The DPO further stated that special teams have been formed for the special task of tracing and arresting the unknown accused involved in the murder.
Reinforcing his commitment to the case, the DPO affirmed, “Urooj Fatima is our own daughter; the police consider the family’s sorrow their own.”
Expressing his firm resolve, he declared that justice will be served. He added, “We are deeply saddened by the cruelty inflicted on this innocent soul. The culprits will be brought to an exemplary end.”
