An Election Tribunal in Lahore has dismissed a petition challenging the victory of Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar from NA-127 in general elections.
The petition was filed by Malik Zaheer Abbas Khokhar. The election tribunal declared Malik Zaheer Abbas Khokhar’s petition as incorrect, non-maintainable and baseless, according to an official report today.
Malik Zaheer Abbas Khokhar repeatedly sought adjournments and requested the case to be postponed. He failed to present any evidence in his favour.
