An elderly man was seriously injured by a stray bullet on Sunday in the Paposh Nagar area, raising concerns about public safety in the densely populated neighborhood.
The victim has been identified as 74-year-old Naseer, son of Muhammad Aziz. The incident occurred near Umar Masjid, close to Chandni Chowk.
Following the incident, the injured citizen was rushed to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention.
Officials from the Paposh Nagar police station have taken notice of the matter and launched a formal investigation. Further investigation is underway to determine the source of the stray bullet.
