A man was killed in a violent clash between two groups over a theft allegation in a village in Naushahro Feroze on Sunday, while in another incident, a man allegedly took his own life due to unemployment.
The fatal clash occurred in the village of Bago Dero within the jurisdiction of the Lakha Road police station. Officials stated that a dispute between the Hussain Bux Shar and Sikio Shar factions of the Shar community escalated, with participants using axes and sticks.
During the fight, Sadru Shar, son of Sikio Shar, sustained fatal injuries and was killed. Police officials confirmed that after completing the necessary procedures, the body was handed over to his family.
In a separate incident on Sunday within the jurisdiction of the Naushahro Feroze police station, law enforcement agencies are investigating a case of suicide in Prem Nagar Colony.
An unemployed man named Waheed Memon, son of Allahando Memon, ended his life by consuming a poisonous substance. According to initial reports, he was disheartened due to unemployment and domestic issues.
Police stated that after completing legal formalities, the body was handed over to the heirs, and further investigation into the circumstances of his death is underway.
