International Currencies Trade at Elevated Levels

Major international currencies continued to trade at elevated valuations on Monday, with the US dollar, Euro, and British Pound maintaining significant figures in the local foreign exchange market.

According to the latest data, the American dollar was quoted at a buying price of 279.37 and a selling price of 280.25.

The Euro saw its buying value at 327.63 and a selling value of 331.08. Similarly, the British Pound Sterling fetched a buying rate of 376.58 and a selling rate of 380.35.

Other key currencies also recorded their respective exchange values; the Japanese Yen stood at 1.74 for buying and 1.80 for selling. For regional currencies, the UAE Dirham was recorded at 76.04 (buy) and 76.94 (sell), while the Saudi Riyal traded at 74.26 (buy) and 75.09 (sell).

The interbank market observed the American currency trading at 278.91 for buying and 279.11 for selling. These latest figures were released by the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan.
