Political – Pakistan Expresses Deep Sorrow Over Gaza Amidst High-Level Palestinian Talks

Pakistan’s profound sadness regarding Israeli actions in Gaza was conveyed during a significant meeting in Islamabad today, where Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousuf hosted Grand Mufti of Palestine Sheikh Muhammad Ahmad Hussein and Qazi ul Qaza of Palestine Dr. Mahmoud Al-Habbash.

During discussions, Minister Yousuf underscored the profound empathy felt by the Pakistani populace, conveying that the suffering caused by Israeli brutality in Gaza deeply afflicts the nation. He articulated that “every Pakistani feels this pain”.

The Minister further reiterated Pakistan”s unwavering policy of non-recognition of Israel, a unique stance globally. He highlighted that Pakistani passports explicitly state their invalidity for travel to the Israeli state.

On the Palestinian side, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Habbash, Qazi ul Qaza of Palestine, announced that the Palestinian President is scheduled to visit Pakistan in the coming weeks. This upcoming visit is anticipated to further fortify bilateral relations between the two nations.

Concluding the meeting, Sheikh Muhammad Ahmad Hussein, the Grand Mufti of Palestine, expressed the deep-rooted bond between the two countries, asserting that the notion of Pakistan and Palestine ever holding divergent viewpoints is inconceivable to them.
