The Government of Balochistan on Monday transferred Superintendent of the Provincial Institute for Teachers Education (PITE), Quetta, Din Muhammad Bugti, and placed his services at the disposal of the District Education Officer (DEO), Awaran.
According to a notification issued by the School Education Department on May 11, 2026, ‘With the prior approval of the competent authority, namely the Secretary, School Education Department, Balochistan, Mr. Din Muhammad Bugti, Superintendent (B-17), Provincial Institute for Teachers Education, Quetta, is hereby transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of the District Education Officer, Awaran, with immediate effect and until further orders.’
It is pertinent to mention that a tribal council of the Bugti tribe had recently nominated Din Muhammad Bugti as the tribal chief, a position for which Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti had earlier been nominated.
