An MQM Pakistan spokesperson today declared May 12 as a notorious day in the nation’s history, in which, according to them, terrorist activities hidden behind political veils resulted in the loss of more than two dozen party members.
On this ominous day, MQM workers faced severe oppression and injustice, including the filing of baseless legal cases. According to the spokesperson, these allegations led to a legal battle in the courts for almost two decades.
The spokesperson emphasized that after a prolonged judicial process, MQM leaders and officials were honorably acquitted, proving their stance against the initial charges correct.
Despite these acquittals, the spokesperson expressed regret that those responsible for this violent incident are still free and have managed to evade the legal consequences of their actions.
The spokesperson argued that this continued impunity has cast a long shadow over the city’s pursuit of justice and accountability.
