The event was organized by Additional Sessions Judge Javed Ali Mirani, while District and Sessions Judge Sukkur Allah Bachayo Gabol delivered the welcome address.
In Judge Gabol’s address, issues regarding the judicial infrastructure were highlighted. He expressed regret over the prolonged delay in the construction of four courts, particularly an additional session court in Pano Aqil pending since 2009. Furthermore, he highlighted the delay in the construction of new lower courts in Sukkur and judicial buildings and residences in Rohri, appealing to the authorities to expedite these projects and hold those responsible for the delays accountable.
Justice Mehmood A. Khan assured that the highlighted issues would be conveyed to the relevant authorities, expressing hope that the use of video link facilities could facilitate lawyers’ appearances at the principal and high court benches, speeding up case decisions.
District and Sessions Judge Ghotki Waseem Iqbal Chaudhry praised the insight and legal guidance of the high court judges, acknowledging their significant role in enhancing the performance and expertise of subordinate courts.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of traditional Sindhi Ajrak and caps to the honorable judges, appreciating their invaluable services to the judiciary.
