Dr. Sahibzada Abu Al Khair Muhammad Zubair, President of Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan and Milli Yakjehti Council Pakistan, appealed to the Muslim Ummah to unite in support of Iran in these difficult times. Today, in a statement, he highlighted Iran’s steadfast stance against the US and Israel and emphasized solidarity among Islamic countries.
Dr. Zubair emphasized that the spirit of sacrifice on Eid al-Adha lies in obedience to Allah and following the tradition of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him). He spoke about the importance of promoting love, selflessness, and brotherhood, urging the public to share the joys of Eid with those in need and rise above sectarian and ethnic divisions.
In his address, Dr. Zubair praised Iran’s courage and spirit of jihad, advocating for Pakistan to provide comprehensive diplomatic, political, and moral support to Iran. He stated that only through the unity of Muslim countries can the desires of opposing forces be thwarted.
Furthermore, Dr. Zubair prayed for the oppressed Muslims in Palestine, Kashmir, and other areas, seeking divine assistance for the solidarity and unity of the Muslim Ummah. He reiterated that the true philosophy of sacrifice lies in prioritizing collective interests over personal desires, to achieve greater good on a large scale.
