In order to provide modern and convenient travel facilities to the citizens of Sukkur, the trial run of Jamalo Train was successfully completed, and today a practical trial from Sukkur to Rohri was conducted before the official inauguration.
In the trial operation, which is the phase before the official launch, Chairman District Council Sukkur Syed Kamil Haider Shah, DS Railway Farhan Ghani, and SSP Sukkur Azhar Khan Mughal were included. The delegation reviewed the railway infrastructure and operational aspects during their journey from Sukkur Railway Station.
Sardarzada Syed Mohsin Abbas Shah, focal person of the Minister of Local Government Sindh Irfan Ali Dawoodpota, and Chief Officer District Council Sukkur Lala Zafar Iqbal Mughal were among those present to take a complete review of the arrangements.
Speaking to the press, Syed Kamil Haider Shah stated that along with the inauguration plan of Jamalo Train, it is intended to complete Jamalo Park and other local projects before Muharram. He emphasized that this train service will provide an unparalleled travel experience, adorned with safety, economy, and convenience.
This initiative promises to connect various town committees of district Sukkur, providing free travel facilities for students and workers. This development is expected to reduce traffic congestion and improve travel options for citizens.
The successful trial marks a significant advancement in the area’s transport infrastructure, initiating better mobility and access for the community.
