Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi, in his message on the International Day for Dialogue among Civilizations, said today that in the prevailing regional environment, dialogue, tolerance, and mutual respect remained the most effective path towards sustainable peace.
He said that Pakistan had consistently advocated peace, stability, and the promotion of constructive relations among nations, and had always played a responsible and balanced role in supporting peace across the region.
The governor stated that confrontation among civilizations was not the answer; rather, dialogue, cooperation, and mutual understanding were the need of the hour. He emphasized that resolving differences through negotiation and constructive engagement was a shared responsibility of the international community.
Hashmi further said that Pakistan remained committed to promoting tolerance, interfaith harmony, and international cooperation, adding that mutual trust and dialogue were effective means to address global challenges.
