Asian Doubles Squash Championship 2026 Pakistani teams’ success in opening matches

Pakistan made a remarkable start today at the Asian Doubles Squash Championship 2026, where both teams have secured victories in their initial matches.

The tournament, which began today in Sarawak, Malaysia, will continue until June 21. Pakistan’s Team 1, consisting of Noor Zaman and Nasir Iqbal, faced Japan’s Naki Hayashi and Ren Makino. The Pakistani pair achieved a 2-0 victory, with set scores of 11-8 and 11-10, and the match lasted for 25 minutes.

Meanwhile, Team 2, comprising Muhammad Hamza Khan and Muhammad Asim Khan, delivered an impressive performance against Chinese Taipei’s Yu Wei Lin and Pan Hung Rui. The Pakistani pair won 2-0, with scores of 11-5 and 11-3, and they impressively completed their match in just 14 minutes.

Both teams are prepared to participate in their next matches later today, as they continue their promising campaign in the championship.
