Through Edhi Center Faisalabad, mute and deaf girl handed over to parents after identification

In an emotional reunion, a young girl, who was mute and deaf and had been residing at the Punjab Edhi Faisalabad Center since 2009, was finally reunited with her family. This heartwarming event occurred on 27 June 2026 at the Edhi Home Sohrab Goth Shelter, when her successful identification was completed.

The girl, who was under the supervision of the Edhi Foundation, will be handed over to her parents at a ceremony, marking the end of a long period of uncertainty and waiting for the family. This reunion highlights the Edhi Foundation’s commitment to reuniting missing persons with their loved ones, a mission that has reunited countless families over the years.
