Body of Pakistani fisherman who died in Indian jail handed over to family

A Pakistani fisherman, who had been imprisoned in an Indian jail since 2021, passed away there. His body was received today by Edhi Foundation at the Wagah Border in Lahore and was brought from Lahore Airport to Karachi Airport at the foundation’s expense. The deceased, Ismail Ibrahim, aged 75 years, had his body transported to his family residence in Kiamari by Edhi Ambulance after arriving in Karachi.
