A tragic incident occurred today at Sheikh Zayed Hospital Sakro when a 25-year-old pregnant woman, Nazirun, lost her life during childbirth, after which her family staged a severe protest alleging medical negligence.
Nazirun, who was the wife of Asghar Waryu from the village of Ilyas Waryu, was brought to the hospital for delivery where she unexpectedly passed away. Her family claims that her death was due to the negligence of the attending doctor, which led to intense confrontation with the hospital staff.
The protest turned into a clash, and in the chaos, a member of the hospital’s cleaning staff, Kishore Kumar, sustained serious injuries.
The deceased’s body has been sent back to her native village, while local police arrived at the scene to manage the situation. The grieving family is demanding immediate legal action against the allegedly negligent doctor.
