Most parts of Balochistan are expected to experience dry and intensely hot weather over the next two days, although isolated rain and thunderstorms are likely in several northeastern districts, the Meteorological Department’s Quetta Regional Centre said on Monday.

The department said a continental air mass continued to dominate most areas of the province, keeping temperatures well above seasonal averages. It forecast light rain accompanied by thunderstorms during the next 24 hours in Khuzdar, Wadh, Barkhan, Rakhni, Musakhel, Kohlu and Harnai.

Strong, dust-raising winds with gusts are also expected during the same period in Nokkundi, Dalbandin, Washuk, Kharan and along the coastal belt.
