From July 1 to July 5, 2026, the Pakistan Monument in Islamabad was illuminated with the vibrant colors of the American flag-red, white, and blue-resulting from the joint efforts of Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Capital Development Authority. Globe Chowk on Constitution Avenue also participated in this luminous tribute, further symbolizing the enduring friendship between the United States and Pakistan.
In Lahore, the campaign extended its reach by illuminating the historic Alamgiri Gate, the famous Picture Wall of Lahore Fort, the Quaid-e-Azam Library, and the National Institute of Technology. The special lighting of these historic sites highlighted the theme of “Freedom to 250,” fostering a spirit of unity and mutual respect.
