A young woman lost her life today on the Karachi Board Office bridge when her burqa got caught in the chain of a motorcycle. The 25-year-old victim, identified as Nayab, was declared dead when she was transferred to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital via Edhi ambulance. The incident is being investigated by North Nazimabad Police Station.
In a separate incident, near Malir’s Daud Goth, a woman was injured inside her home by a stray bullet. The victim, Zulekha, aged 40, wife of Karim Bakhsh, was immediately transferred to Jinnah Hospital via Edhi ambulance. The source of the bullet is still unknown, and Malir City Police Station is investigating this concerning incident.
