If Jamaat-e-Islami comes to power, we will make education free: Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman

Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, a leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, urged the government in a speech at an event today to consider the youth as an important asset for national development. He emphasized that with proper training in Information Technology (IT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), young Pakistanis can play a significant role in reducing the country’s debts. He pointed out the clear difference in IT export figures between India and Pakistan, suggesting that Pakistan’s exports could increase from 4 billion dollars to 25 billion dollars if proper investment and support are provided.

Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman presented “Bano Qabil” as a transformative initiative and pledged that if his party came to power, education would be made free. He highlighted the significant role of Generation Z in shaping the nation’s future and emphasized that nurturing their talents is a collective responsibility.

During the event, medals and certificates were distributed to 1,200 students for completing IT courses, while laptops were given to those who showed outstanding performance. The event was attended by prominent figures from the IT industry, highlighting its importance. Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman announced the establishment of a university under the “Bano Qabil” initiative, aimed at further enhancing educational opportunities.

Also present at the event were Alkhidmat Islamabad President Altaf Sher, Secretary Tayyab Siddiqui, Jamaat-e-Islami Islamabad Amir Nasrullah Randhawa, Secretary Zubair Safdar, and Central Information Secretary Shakeel Ahmed Tarrar.
