Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi on Monday inaugurated NADRA Mega Centre in Surjani Town, providing modern, efficient, and dignified services to the public.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of NADRA Mega Centre in Surjani Town, the Sindh governor said that the National Identity Card was not merely a document but a symbol of every Pakistani’s identity, constitutional rights, and connection with the state. He stated that a strong identity management system formed the foundation of a secure, stable, and progressive nation.
The governor said that, through modern technology, transparent systems, and professional services, NADRA had earned a distinguished reputation not only in Pakistan but also internationally. He expressed confidence that the new Mega Centre would play a significant role in delivering quality, efficient, and dignified services to hundreds of thousands of residents in the area.
Following the inauguration, the governor toured various sections of the NADRA Mega Centre, inspected different service counters, and interacted with citizens visiting the facility. He inquired about the procedures for issuing identity documents, the quality of services, and the facilities being provided. He directed NADRA officials to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of fast, transparent, and dignified services so that citizens would not face any inconvenience.
Later, while addressing the officers and staff of the Mega Centre, the governor commended their dedication and commitment to public service. He said that the true identity of any institution lay not in its building but in the integrity, professionalism, courtesy, and commitment to public service demonstrated by its officers and employees. He urged the staff to treat every visitor with respect, dignity, and professionalism while ensuring that their concerns were addressed on a priority basis.
