Two people were killed and another sustained critical injuries after an unidentified vehicle struck a motorcycle near the Northern Bypass in Karachi late on Sunday, police said.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene immediately after the collision, and authorities have launched an investigation to trace the suspect, police officials said.
Law enforcement personnel and rescue teams responded to the incident after receiving information and transported the deceased and the injured to a nearby hospital. Rescue officials said the injured victim remained in critical condition.
Police said the identities of the two deceased had not yet been established. Investigators were collecting evidence and examining the circumstances surrounding the fatal hit-and-run accident.
