Seven men allegedly assaulted a milk seller and left him critically injured.
According to a report today, Sohail, a resident of Sindhwala in the jurisdiction of Muradpur Police Station, was transporting milk on his motorcycle for sale when seven individuals, who had reportedly were waiting in the village of Chitti Sheikhan, stopped him at gunpoint.
The attackers subjected him to brutal torture and, in an act described as inhumane, cut off his moustache. They continued beating him with sticks, spilled approximately 80 kilograms of milk onto the road, causing significant losses, and snatched thousands of rupees in cash from him.
It has been learned that a land dispute existed between Sohail and the accused. The local police have registered a case and arrested five suspects, while raids are being conducted to apprehend the remaining two.
