Mayor Karachi’s visit, review of post-rain situation and development projects

Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab visited today to review the drainage system in the city after the rain and ongoing development projects.

In response to heavy rains, a rain emergency has been declared by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation. The entire staff of the Municipal Services and Engineering Department is on high alert, ensuring effective drainage on the city’s highways.

The Mayor emphasized that not only is drainage being prioritized, but city wardens are also present on the roads to assist the public. Complete preparation has been made for the rain, with special attention given to cleaning blocked drains.

Demonstrating solidarity with the citizens, the municipal administration is committed to addressing all kinds of emergency situations. Mayor Wahab also visited several development sites, instructing the relevant departments to expedite the completion of projects before the next rain.
