A maternal and child health center will be constructed at Rural Health Center Adilpur, provincial minister laid the foundation

Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce Jam Ikramullah Khan Dharejo today laid the foundation for a new maternal and child health center (MCHC) at the Rural Health Center Adilpur in Ghotki district.

This project, which is financially supported by OGDCL Ghotki, is expected to cost between 70 to 80 million rupees. The aim of this development is to improve health services for mothers and children in the region, so that the local community can easily access high-quality medical facilities.

During the visit, Provincial Minister Dharejo, accompanied by Chairman Municipal Committee Ghotki, Jam Asif Razaq Khan Dharejo, reiterated the Sindh government’s commitment to strive for improving health facilities across the province. He mentioned that the new MCHC in Adilpur is expected to have a positive impact on thousands of residents.

District Manager PPHI Muhammad Arif Abbasi briefed the minister, stating that RHC Adilpur is currently providing various medical services. These include outpatient services, maternal and child care, dental treatment, X-ray facilities, rabies vaccine, immunization, ambulance facility, laboratory testing, and round-the-clock minor delivery services.

This project highlights the provincial government’s strategy to strengthen the health infrastructure, so that the basic medical needs of the local population can be met.
