Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani today directed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to ensure exceptional preparations are in place for the high-profile Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference (ISC), scheduled to be held in the capital in November of next year.
The directive came during a meeting at Aiwan-e-Sadr today, where the head of state received a briefing from CDA Chairman, Mr. Mohammed Ali Randhawa.
Mr. Gilani underscored the significance of the global gathering, which is set to bring together parliamentary leaders from across the world on 11-12 November 2025.
He emphasized that the federal capital must perfectly reflect Pakistan’s hospitality and organizational excellence for the duration of the international event.
During the session, Mr. Randhawa apprised the Acting President on the status of ongoing development schemes and the progress of key infrastructure projects throughout the city.
