Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, in his address to the participants of the Balochistan National Workshop today, said that in a significant step for the development of Balochistan, the current government has allocated substantial budget resources to enhance the development and prosperity of the area.
This allocation includes the provision of solar energy for the tube wells of 27,000 farmers, valued at 75 billion rupees. Out of this, the federal government has contributed 50 billion rupees, affirming its commitment to enhancing agricultural productivity in the area.
Additionally, work is underway on an ambitious expressway project connecting Karachi to Chaman, estimated to cost 300 billion rupees. This infrastructure development is expected to be completed by next year, which will improve connectivity and economic activity in the region.
During his speech at the Balochistan National Workshop, the Prime Minister outlined these initiatives, emphasizing the government’s commitment to the province’s development. These efforts are hoped to have a transformative impact on Balochistan, promoting economic growth and a better quality of life for its residents.
