Administrator inaugurates Aqsa Park, Dr AQ Khan Park

KARACHI:Administrator Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab on Tuesday inaugurated the newly constructed Aqsa Park and Dr AQ Khan Park at Model Colony UC-4 of the metropolis.

Talking to media after inaugurating the newly constructed parks, he said that now the cleanliness work in Korangi district would be carried out by Sindh Solid Waste Management Board and it had been given three months to complete the task. He said that Aqsa Park of Korangi district had been rebuilt with the resources of the Sindh government. The administrator said that the park had been made very beautiful, with new plants, trees and benches.

He said that development work would be carried out in every area of the metropolis as Rs 1.5 billion had been allocated for construction and repair of roads in the city while work had been started by dividing Karachi into three parts. Wahab said that tenders had been issued in this regard and procurement is in progress. Administrator DMC Korangi Sajida Qazi and Municipal Commissioner Korangi Irshad Ahmed Arain were also present on the occasion.
