ISLAMABAD:Jammu Martyrs Day is being observed throughout Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) tomorrow (Friday) with a renewed pledge to accomplish the left out mission of the martyrs and commemorate massacre of Muslims in Jammu on 6th November 1947.
The day reminds the sacrifice of those hundreds of thousands of Muslims who were mercilessly slain by Hindu extremists Rashtrya Swayamseva Sung (RSS) near Jammu when they were on their way to Pakistan aboard trucks and buses. It is a public holiday in Azad Jammu and Kashmir tomorrow (Friday).
Public meetings and seminars will be held all over the state to pay homage to the martyrs of Jammu and Kashmir who sacrificed their lives for the cause of Islam and Pakistan.
