AJK President Barrister Sultan Mahmood calls on CM Punjab

Lahore, September 21, 2021 (PPI-OT):President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry met with Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar at his office on Monday and thanked him for extending full support in the AJK elections. Both discussed matters of mutual importance and CM Usman Buzdar also congratulated Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry on becoming AJK President. Both strongly condemned Indian atrocities and oppression being committed against the oppressed Kashmiris.

The CM Usman Buzdar maintained that PTI’s success in AJK elections showed that the people want continuity of policies adding that Azad Kashmir will move on the road to development and prosperity. The foundation of a new Pakistan has been laid in Azad Kashmir as the politics of public service and transparent governance have defeated negative politics, he maintained.

The CM highlighted that even the brutal lockdown could not suppress the freedom passion of Kashmiris and added that the Modi regime’s policy of state-sponsored oppression has been totally failed in the Indian Occupied Kashmir. India is burning in its funeral pyre and the day is not far when India will be balkanised, he indicated.

Meanwhile, Pakistan will continue to side with its Kashmiri brethren as the hearts of Pakistanis beat in unison with the Kashmiris; he continued and vowed that Punjab will support Azad Kashmir in the development journey. Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry regretted that India has turned occupied Kashmir into prison while the Kashmiris have sparked the candle of freedom with their blood. It is sanguine that PM Imran Khan has fought the Kashmir cause at every forum with determination and logic. The policy of composite development is praiseworthy, he noted. Similarly, a conspicuous change is everywhere visible in Punjab as the hard work done by Usman Buzdar is praiseworthy, he concluded.
