Allegations of alteration in Nawabshah Education Board results should be investigated: Jamaat-e-Islami Sindh

Jamaat-e-Islami Sindh’s General Secretary Muhammad Yusuf has demanded an immediate and impartial investigation into allegations of alteration of results in the Nawabshah Education Board, and likened this educational dispute to the irregularities in the national elections. This demand came after strong protests by students over the recently released ninth-grade examination results.

In a statement issued today, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sindh’s General Secretary Muhammad Yusuf expressed serious concern over the transparency of the results published by the Shaheed Benazirabad Inter Board. He stressed that a comprehensive inquiry is necessary to address the grievances of the affected students and restore confidence in the system.

Yusuf emphasized the gravity of the situation, stating that individuals who jeopardize the future of the young generation “deserve no leniency.” He highlighted that the ongoing student demonstrations against alleged corruption and unfair results have cast a shadow of doubt over the entire educational structure.

The JI leader appealed to the Sindh Education Minister to take immediate notice of the matter. He stressed that the controversy surrounding the board’s results has raised profound questions that demand immediate attention from the provincial government.
