BAHAWALPUR: The 15th Amir of former Princely State Bahawalpur Nawab Salahuddin Abbasi will celebrate his 75th birthday on 29th July (Today).
He was born in the historical Sadiq Garh Palace on 29th July 1946. Nawab Salahuddin Abbasi returned five times as member of the national assembly, first of all in 1977 from Bahawalpur city constituency and four times consecutively from Ahmed Pur East constituency in 1988, 1990, 1993 and 1997 general elections. He retired from active politics in 2001.
Birthday cake of Nawab Salhuddin Abbasi will be cut at Sadiq Garh Palace on 29th July at 11 AM in which political figures of the area have been invited to participate this ceremony being organized by Palace’s staff. Meanwhile Prince Bahawal Abbas Khan Abbasi has arranged a dinner at Nawab’s Lahore defence residence on 29th July in which family friends and close relatives have been invited, birthday cake will also be cut on this occasion.
