Islamabad, July 15, 2022 (PPI-OT):An important meeting was held at CDA headquarters on Thursday under the chairmanship of Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad. In which plans to use security cameras and advanced technology to monitor the metro corridor were considered. Inspector General of Islamabad Police and other relevant formations officers also participated in the meeting.
The meeting deliberated on the plan to install security cameras and use technology to monitor the metro corridor. During the meeting, it was also decided that Smart Traffic Management System on Islamabad Highway will be handed over to ICT Police while CDA will help ICT Police in installing more cameras.
It was further decided that Smart Traffic System will be implemented on Margalla Highway by Islamabad Police. It was further decided in the meeting that Islamabad will be transformed into a safe capital through the use of modern technology with the cooperation of ICT administration, Islamabad Police and CDA.
