Pishin: ANF Intelligence and ANF, Quetta claimed to have foiled the bid to smuggle 39.600 kilogram hashish in an operation conducted in Khanozai area of district Pishin in Balochistan province on Tuesday. Two women of inter-provincial gang were also arrested during the operation.
According to a statement issued by the spokesman for ANF, Quetta, Anti-Narcotics Force (Intelligence) and Anti-Narcotics Force, Quetta seized 39.600 kilogram hashish from the possession of two ladies namely Meher Mehwes, resident of Pishin and Rehana Yasmin, resident of Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab during search operation in a passenger bus in Khanozai area of district Pishin. Case against the alleged accused, who intended to smuggle hashish from Pishin to Rahim Yar Khan, was lodged under anti-drug act. Further investigation was being conducted by the concerned authorities.
