The region’s finest athletic talent was showcased at the annual bodybuilding competition held at the Ajrak Club on Tuesday evening, which, according to officials, culminated in the selection of two local athletes for provincial and national level competitions.
This championship was a joint effort of the Department of Sports and the Mirpurkhas Bodybuilding and Fitness Association. The event’s arrangements were overseen by organizers Divisional President Aftab Baloch and General Secretary Jamal Baloch.
During the ceremony, District Sports Officer Vashdev Malhi and President Aftab Baloch said that this annual competition serves as a significant platform, and participants from this area are rapidly making a name for themselves in major competitions.
The difficult duties of the judge were performed by a panel comprising Joint Secretary Sindh Raees Ahmed Khan, Senior Vice President Tariq Alam and Abid Karim Baloch.
In the senior class competitions, Zeeshan of Ali Gym was declared Mr. Mirpurkhas Division 2023, while his gym-mate Nadir Baloch claimed the 2024 title. Saleem Baloch of Gold Gym won the Mr. Mirpurkhas Division 2025 honour.
In the junior class, Kashan Ahmed won the title of Mr. Junior 2023. In other junior categories, athletes from Gold Gym were prominent, where Shahzaib Shah won the Mr. Junior 2024 and Siraj Baloch received the Mr. Junior 2025 award.
Several athletes demonstrated exceptional versatility. Saleem Baloch also triumphed in the Men’s Physique Senior 2025 division, while Shahzaib Shah added the Men’s Physique Junior 2025 title to his accolades, marking a successful event for representatives of both Gold Gym and Ali Gym.
