Islamabad, November 03, 2020 (PPI-OT): Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Javed Iqbal says the anti-corruption strategy has started yielding excellent results. Chairing a meeting in Islamabad to review implementation status of the decisions and measures taken by NAB, he said the effective planning to eradicate corruption has been acknowledged by reputed national and international organizations.
The meeting was informed that out of 179 mega corruption cases, NAB filed 97 corruption references in different accountability courts, while 57 references were taken to logical conclusion. It was further informed that ten inquiries and fifteen investigations of the mega corruption cases are under process.
