APHC-AJK holds roundtable conference in Lahore

Lahore,
July 14, 2019 (PPI-OT): All Parties Hurriyat Conference-Azad Jammu and Kashmir
(APHC-AJK) chapter held a roundtable conference in Lahore to pay tributes to
the martyrs of July 13, 1931. The APHC-AJK Convener, Syed Abdullah Gilani on
the occasion presented a detailed report regarding the Martyrs Day and human
rights violations by Indian troops in the occupied territory.

The
Chairman of Kashmir Committee, Syed Fakhar Imam addressing the conference said
that Pakistan had taken practical steps for highlighting the Kashmir dispute at
international level and would leave no stone unturned to project it at all
global fora.

He said
Pakistan has its principled stance on Kashmir dispute and would never backtrack
from it. He said Pakistan would continue its moral, political and diplomatic
support to the people of Kashmir in their struggle for securing their birth
right to self-determination.

The JI
leader, Liaquat Baloch speaking on the occasion said that the people of Kashmir
had given unprecedented sacrifices for the Kashmir cause and would never
compromise on their rights. The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom
League, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani addressing the conference said India wanted to
deceive the international community on Kashmir but would never succeed in its
sinister designs.

The
Speaker of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Shah Ghulam Qadir on
the occasion said that India was conspiring to change the demography of Kashmir
by accommodating non-Kashmiris in the occupied territory but the people of
Kashmir would resist it tooth and nail.

Mushtaq Mehmood, Muhammad Hussain Khateeb, Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Shami, Shahid
Iqbal, Brig. (Retd) Asif Mehmood, Syed Naseebullah Gurdesi, Ghulam Muhiuddin,
Ghulam Abbas Mir, Maulana Muhammad Asif Makhdoomi, Maulana Zaheer Ahmad Taheer,
Ghulam Farooq Syedi, Prof Abdur Rahman Ludhyanvi, Farooq Azad and Muhammad
Shafee Josh also addressed the conference. Media representatives, political,
social and human rights activists and the retired personnel of Pakistan Army
participated in the roundtable conference.
