Islamabad, February 11, 2019 (PPI-OT): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter held, today, a seminar in Islamabad in connection with the martyrdom anniversaries of prominent Kashmiri liberation leaders, Muhammad Maqbool Butt and Muhammad Afzal Guru.
Chief Guest, former president of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Yaqoob Khan, APHC-AJK chapter Convener, Syed Abdullah Gilani and Convener of the Mirwaiz-led forum, Syed Faiz Naqshbandi and other Hurriyat leaders paid tributes to the martyrs. They termed their hanging as a black chapter in the judicial history and demanded the return of mortal remains of the martyrs to Kashmir for a proper burial.
They Hurriyat leaders reiterated the resolve to continue the martyrs’ mission till complete success. At the end of the seminar, they offered prayers for Muhammad Maqbool Butt, Muhammad Afzal Guru and other Kashmiri martyrs.
Muhammad Rafiq Dar, Mehmood Ahmad Saghar, Syed Yousuf Naseem, Muhammad Hussain Khateeb, Tahir Masood, Haji Sultan Butt, Dawood Khan, Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoob, Nisar Mirza, Saleem Wani, Abdul Majeed Malik, Imtiaz Wani, Manzoorul Haq Butt, Syed Ejaz Rehmani, Mushtaq Butt, Nazir Ahmed Karnai, Javaid Jahangir, Ishitiq Hameed, Advocate Parvaiz Ahmed Shah, Ghulam Hassan, Adeel Mushtaq and Sheikh Abdul Mateen attended the seminar.
