APHC denounces re-arrest of Chief Spokesman

Srinagar, June 20, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has strongly condemned the arrest of its Chief Spokesman, Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar after release on bail in Srinagar, today. The APHC in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, while denouncing the highhandedness of the occupation authorities said that under a well-knit conspiracy Kashmiri people particularly youth were pushed to the wall through prolonging of their illegal detention.

The APHC made it clear that cowardly actions by the authorities could not deter the Kashmiris from pursuing their sacred mission. Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar was lodged at Shergarhi police station of the city. The APHC said it believes in peaceful resolution of age-old Kashmir dispute, which has been threatening peace and prosperity of not only South Asia, but world at large. It said that Indian rulers should realize and accept the ground realities and historical facts and take some concrete steps to address this burning issue once and for all, to avoid nuclear collision in waiting.
