Mirpurkhas, February 08, 2018 (PPI-OT): The Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Mirpurkhas, held a Badminton tournament at the Badminton Hall Gamma Stadium in connection with Kashmir Day -Sports Festival. Including Shah Abdul Latif Government Degree College, AJ Private College, Khan Badminton Club, Government Comprehensive Higher Secondary School, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto College and Malik Suleman Memorial Badminton Club.
The final match played between the winner of the Government Comprehensive Higher Secretary School and Suleman Badminton Club, at last took the title the Suleman Memorial Badminton Club. Talking to the Prize Distribution ceremony, District Sports Officer Arshad Arain said that sports and youth affairs department will be conducting tournaments in various districts of Sindh for promotion of badminton along with other sports as well.
On this occasion, Government Comprehensive Higher Secondary School, Principal Muzaffar Jamil, said that it is a good manner to play sports competitions and said that due to this youth’s performance in sporting activities is improved. On this occasion, trophy prizes were distributed in winner and runner teams. Prof. Liaquat Brohi, in the Tournament attended a large number of people with great interest with Abdul Salim Khan of the Sports Associate Academy, Malik Iqbal.
