Bagri woman allowed to go with relatives

LARKANA: Ayshan Bagri, a woman belonging to the Bagri community, who was alleged to be the target of torture after her kidnapping in Larkana a few days ago, was produced in the court of the 6th Additional and Sessions Judge here on Saturday by the Hyderi police station, where after the woman recorded her statement, the court ordered her to be handed over to her relatives.

On that occasion, Mansoor Dahani, the woman’s lawyer, said that for 2 months, accused Amanullah Brohi, allegedly kidnapped and raped Ayshan at Nako number 7. He said her relatives filed an application and police produced her today in the court of the 6th Additional and Sessions Judge, where the woman recorded her statement.

He said that she told the court that Amanullah Brohi kidnapped and raped her for two months and then she reached her relatives. He said after her statement the court allowed her to go with relatives. The accused Amanullah Brohi, had claimed that he did not kidnap Ayshan Bagri, but she had changed her religion and got married to him with her will and is also his wife.
