Balochistan Braces for Cold Nights Amid Persistent Dry Weather

Balochistan is set for a period of dry and sunny conditions over the next few days, though several northern districts will experience significantly cooler temperatures during night and morning hours, according to a forecast issued by the Meteorological Department”s Quetta Regional Centre on Thursday.

The synoptic situation indicates that mainly arid weather will dominate most districts of the province for the next 48 hours. Residents in Quetta, Kalat, Qillah Saifullah, and Ziarat should anticipate continued cool weather during nocturnal and early morning periods.

For the immediate 24-hour window, the northern areas of the province are expected to see partly cloudy skies, while the rest of Balochistan remains predominantly dry.

The preceding 24 hours saw no rainfall recorded across the region, confirming the arid conditions. Temperature readings from the previous night showed Ziarat as the coldest location with a minimum of 3.7°C, followed by Kalat at 8.0°C and Quetta City at 10.5°C.
